For the best security practices, we have a couple of steps involved when getting set up wth your first users.
Here's how this works.
- You'll have received your welcome email.
- You'll be prompted to click a button for First time log in
- This will take you to a page to reset a password via entering your email to request a one time access link to your area of OnDemand.
- Use the link in this new email to access the page and set a strong password for this account.
- The account that you just reset the password for is the very first user for your new area. The username for this account is the same as your area number (and it cannot be changed).
- This first user is automatially assigned the "User Manager" role
- The next step here is to assign the "Admin" and "Role Manager" roles to this user
- Now you're set up to begin begin creating users
